We break our “real people” theme du jour (du moment? du Juillet?) for a quick and bouncy update. Pete cleverly stuck to the theme without so declaring in his Monday post. But this is just for fun (assuming there was no real Jenny….)
If one is going to plant an earworm, it should be a good one, and “867-5309″ is one of the niftiest pieces of power pop to come out of the ’80s. And it has written on it in big blinking letters. The ’80s indeed were a time of many high-quality one-off acts — and nothing wrong with that.
