Thanks for the in-depth look at the Musicians of Detroit,
and Alice Cooper, both the band and the man who eventually became Alice.
I really enjoy “Hard Hearted Alice”, the song, in the beginning is not what one would expect
but by the end, it’s pure Alice Cooper, just perfect!
I love around 4:01 where the music seems to march towards it’s inevitable conclusion, wonderful!
I enjoyed the heck out of the video itself
all the old album covers in one spot!

p.s. when are you and Bridey going to do another collaborative post?

I loved this one Bridey!
The title was catchy too…hopefully you get a few hits when I post it on FB.
I have to admit I don’t much like the song
but I’m a fan of the hair!
I find the lyrics slightly better than the actual song honestly
but I do like the instrumentals, so I shouldn’t complain :)

This was a wonderful read
and I thank you for it Bridey!
I enjoy Joni Mitchell
and what she does with her vocals
it brings the already great lyrics to life.
My only regret is that I don’t currently have a copy of this song

Thank you Pete,
for a great look at one of my favorite bands of all time.
I’m ashamed to admit I don’t know the stories
of half of the bands I listen to, probably not even 10%
of them to be honest, so when you write about one
as in depth as this, it brings them to a whole new light.
In watching the video for “Have a Cigar”,
I also realized how few of the Pink Floyd albums I actually have
(runs off to contact friends who might have them,
though I’m sure most are unavailable)

I like Boston, don’t ask me why
maybe it’s the memories of a simpler time
Not sure what’s going on around 1:40 but it seems to happen again around 2:42
Still in all enjoyable
The worst point for me I believe
is the ending, it just ends (if that makes sense)
It doesn’t trail off, it just is silence
not golden to me

Thank you for this one Bridey.
I like Peter Gabriel, this song is no exception
and was fun to watch. Not sure which version the video is
but it’s still entertaining and doesn’t take away from the vocals,
bass, or drum work.
Considering it’s not a Tim Burton production, the video
is even more interesting, morphing from piece to piece,
you just never know what’s going to come up next.

This is one of my favorite songs from Fleetwood Mac
and I always enjoy listening to it again.
Considering everything going on with the band at the time
the song is interesting to me
Whatever the meaning behind the song
I believe it helped shape Stevie Nicks from then on

the give and take was amazing
and I think you should do this type of blog more often
I like both versions of the song to be hones
I liked the Searchers Version better
but the Ventures rocked a lot more
